An End Of An Era For Our Studio
It is with great sadness to announce the passing of my father, teacher and mentor James Frank Bushere. Cofounder of Bushere and Son Iron Studio, Inc. James was born in New York in 1954 and moved west with his mother a very young age. He found his love and talents of metalwork while staying at Boys Republic in Chino, Ca. James left BR in 1971 with the top student honor for his metalwork talents and started his career as a metalworker. For many years he had a fabrication shop for gates and fencing in Pomona, CA until 1992. In 1995 James and Charles Bushere (son) started blacksmithing in Anaheim Hills, CA. For 28 years James created fine ironwork with his son and also later with his grandson Charles Jr. Bushere. He will be greatly missed...
